Marie Claire’s Prix Awards are some of the most prestigious in the beauty industry. We joined their Beauty Assistant, Charlotte Clark, whilst she was getting ready for this year’s ceremony.

“On my face I’m using the MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation, which I like because it gives a dewy, light coverage finish that looks natural. I love to pop the MAC Prep and Prime Highlighter under my eyes and along the high points of my face for a bit of a glow. MAC are always my go-to, I’m a massive fan of the brand. I completed my base with a bit of Benefit Hoola because I’m totally obsessed with bronzer, I never ever use highlighter.

“After filling in my eyebrows with the Make Up Forever Sculpting Brow in 40, I lined my lash line with the I-Lift Longwear Liner and applied a couple of coats of the Sisley Mascara. I finished my makeup with a slick of the NARS Banned Red Lipstick.”

“Now I’ve finished my makeup I’m moving onto hair. I’ve given my hair a bit of body with the Babyliss Big Hair, this gives you an at-home blow dry, it’s amazing! After using this, I set my curls in place with the Maria Nila Finishing Spray.

“My scent for the evening is the Michael Kors Coral Perfume which I’m currently obsessed with because it’s just so fruity. And there we are, I’m ready to go!”
