Throwing it back to when brows the thickness of a single super noodle were all the rage.
1. Beyonce – Freakum Dress

Okay so we had one of GOSH’s light up lipglosses when we were in year 7 but we never looked this sassy. Queen Bey, you always slay.
2. Britney Spears – Toxic

Arguably one of the most recognisable looks from any music video, our favourite part of Britney’s crystal get up is the tiny gems on the inner and outer corners of her eyes. On a side note, nothing says ‘biggest beauty trend of 2003’ like a squared off manicure.
3. Christina Aguilera – Dirrty

Would you look at those brows! This music video was scandalous at the time, and Christina’s wet look black smokey eye just adds to her badass bitch look. Plus, when you’re writhing around in a boxing ring, there’s just no time for blending your eyeshadow.
4. Spice Girls – Spice World

The first uprising of brown lipstick, championed by no other than Posh Spice herself. Even before she was winning prestigious fashion awards left, right and centre, VB was setting trends.
5. Mariah Carey – Honey

So. Fricking. Glam. That shimmering chocolate brown eyeshadow, extreme brow highlight and those tadpole shaped eyebrows just scream ‘Mariah circa 1997’.
6. TLC – No Scrubs

‘A scrub is a guy who thinks he’s fly’, you know what else is fly? Frosted light blue eyeshadow and extreme hair styles. Obviously.
7. Fergie – Fergalicious

Golden highlighter, bronzed eyes and shimmering nude lipstick are the makeup essentials when you’re up in the gym just working on your fitness, with Will.I.Am as your witness.
8. Girls Aloud – I Think We’re Alone Now

Do we even need to discuss that sparkly pink highlighter and no nonsense contour? They just don’t do music video makeup like this anymore. So garish and so amazing.
9. Gwen Stefani – Don’t Speak

There’s No Doubt *heh* that Gwen has been the red lip queen for years. This look with the bindi, brows the thickness of a single super noodle and winged liner is absolute 90’s rock perfection.
